A farewell to 2013 and hello to 2014

009439abr_20130407_155743_e_7201_v2Corini One day spring arrived and with that the season began. Cassius was very good at his first competition and thus was moved up a level for the rest of the year. Corini told me that she was not really interested in the cross country part and I decided that I liked Faraday so much that he should have a brother or a sister. Argos tried his first couple of competitions. He did up to 90 cm cross country and should be ready for the next season.

Faraday has grown in to a beautiful two year old stallion. This spring will be his last as a stallion as we are having him gelded whenever Lene finds that it is time.

New years is also the time for looking ahead. The first couple of months are busy with competitions in both dressage and jumping. We will also be doing a couple of indoor cross country practices and if the weather keeps being warm probably also a couple of outdoor practices. The plan is to start the season with a cross country competition in Flyinge on March 29’rd. Cassius will be doing 100 cm and Argos 90 cm. The dream is that Cassius will be ready for 1* events quite fast and then hopefully ready for Malmo horseshow in August. This is however quite ambitious dreaming from my side and he is not ready we will not go. It is important for me to keep him happy and ready for the next task more than entering that one show. Corini will be having her foal on July 18’th or thats the date we are expecting. Hopefully she will have another great foal that I can enjoy in the future. Last thing of today will be a couple of pictures from the last two weeks. Cassius at a competition in Hillerød and at indoor cross at Søborggård and Argos training jumping at Haregabgård.
