After a busy spring Cassius had a break of five weeks. To weeks ago we started up again with a CNC100. The dressage is still our biggest problem, but it is slowly getting better and at some point it will work out. He did great at both jumping and cross and seemed to have benifitted from the break. This past weekend was the “big” test. We did a CNC* in Revinge. This time I felt like the dressage was a lot better. Unfortunately we also had some expencieve mistakes on the course so once again not too many points. The jumping went ok, the course was dificult and I spend way too much time in there. But clear on the fences with some time faults is ok. All that was forgotten when we left the starting box sunday morning. Ears pricked and very eager to jump whatever was in the way Cassius cleared one fence at a time and galoped over the finish line well within time. Finally I feel like we are ready to try out at the international scene. We will do so in Bad Segeberg in October.
