A Change of Plans

So the saeson started. Cassius did as well. More than enough actually. At our first competition he ran so fast the we got penalties for riding too fast. New approach for the week after, the result however much much worse. We disagreed on the jumping course and I fell off. No harm done but another change of plans.
Sweeden are trying out a new system for trying out young horses. I think this will be an excellent introduction for Aristocrat and I have entered him for the first competition at the international show in Höör. He will be doing the smaller one of the competitions at 90 cm.
First we do a jumping course the last fence there is also the first fence in the cross country. Most of the cross country will be in the jumping arena with a small detour to the water fence. After cross country the horses are presented in trot and walk in the arena. Four marks are given for movements, approach, scope and jumping capacity. If he seems ready for more he will be entered at more shows after.
