The goal for the winther is to make not only the horses but also my performance in the dressage arena better. Hence I was happy to get the opportunity to ride a course with international judge Henriette Habernicht. I chose to ride a test a little above what we have been doing so far. Originally the plan was to have Corini ready for this test in the middle of december. But I thought it would be nice to see how far away we were from actually being able to ride it now. To make it as much of a competition situation as I could for Corini I dressed both her an my self up in the usual dressage outfit.
We rode the test in bits and pieces and was told where and how we would be able to get a higher score. Henriette described Corini as a very appealing and beautiful horse wich she was certain I could do around 67-69% with when we get more routine. There is a lot of things that are far from perfect but Henriette liked the halts and the canter a lot and told me that the walk would be very easy to improve. She still needs more strength but I think the next month and a half will help a lot there. I had my mom with me and she recorded som of the sequences.
