2016 has arrived and we are preparing for the eventing season. Like last year NAG Horsepro has decided to be part of the team this year, so has Allé Rideudstyr; my sponsor of quality equipment through 10 years now. Having support in a sport like this means A LOT. I couldn’t do it without them.
This past weekend I went for the first cross country practice of the year. When we planned it back in December we were optimistic. It did, however, look as if we would have to cancel with all the snow we got in the middle of January. But a week ago the snow started melting and today the footing was PERFECT on most of the course at Revinge.
I brought Aristocrat with me and did a dressage lesson Saturday for Helena Kallblad. She was very impressed with the work my weekly coach Sarah Bisgaard and I had managed to put into him. He looks almost grown up now and will soon be ready for smaller dressage competitions.
Sunday meant time for cross country. Aristocrat again showed how much he has developed these past few months. He used to be spooked and tense, but not anymore. He just jumped everything with pricked ears. A small video compilation can be found below.
